LÜNERSEE
The Lünersee, once one of the largest natural mountain lakes in the Eastern Alps, lies at an altitude of 1,970 m. It is located at the end of the Brandnertal valley.

Families, mountain fans and nature lovers will find a wide range of activities here. The Lünersee is the starting point for numerous hikes, including to the Schesaplana, the highest mountain in the Rätikon. The unique nature of the Rätikon, the fresh mountain air and a breathtaking Alpine panorama make the visit a unique experience. Fishermen will also find optimal conditions on the Lünersee.

In addition, alpine climbing tours such as the Kirchlispitzen or the Schesaplana are among the most beautiful leisurely climbing tours in the Rätikon.

You can reach the car park for the Lünersee valley station in about 30 minutes from Mama Käthe.

Whether you are interested in a small Madeisa circular route (approx. 30 min.), the art path (approx. 60 min) or you decide the big mountain routes - the experience of the vastness also fascinates locals again and againr new.
