The holiday regions around the Alpine town of Bludenz and Mama Käthe...

The 
Brandnertal, the  Alpine town of Bludenz, the Klostertal and the Biosphere Park Grosses Walsertal are in the south of Vorarlberg, in the far west of Austria. This part of the country is characterized by mountain ranges, valleys, crystal-clear mountain streams and mountain lakes.

SKIING
Mama Käthe is the ideal and central point to start in over 40 ski areas in Vorarlberg.


The beautiful Brandnertal ski area can be reached by car in just 18 minutes - distance 17 km.

The ideal for children Golm/Montafon ski area can be reached by car in just 19 minutes - distance 19.6 km.

The well-known Ski area Lech/Zürs can be reached by car in about 30 to 40 minutes - distance 49 km.

SKI-TOURS

You can learn the basics of ski touring in Kleinwalsertal, for example: there is a five-hour ski touring course for beginners once a week.

Whether skating or classic style, whether you are a beginner or a competitive athlete. Cross-country skiing in Vorarlberg is a special fun. The selection of different cross-country trails is huge and the landscape all around is just gorgeous.

TOBOGGAN

 There are numerous toboggan runs to choose from in Vorarlberg's holiday regions. On some of them it is even possible to go night tobogganing under floodlights or by torchlight. The longest illuminated night toboggan run in St. Gallenkirch-Garfrescha in the Montafon is 5.5 kilometers long.
